University, chartered in 1983 as Pakistan's first private international
university, is committed to the provision of education, research, and health
care of international standard relevant to Pakistan and the region.
The Outreach and Research Program of the
Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has
nine community-based field sites across Pakistan (including five in Karachi)
and focuses on research for the betterment of women and child health.
Vacant Position: |
Data Collector (URC), Paediatrics & Child Health
|
- Review
medical records of patients and obtain the information required for the
study
- Communicate,
coordinate with patients and their families
- Arrange
and coordinate clinic appointments
- Contact
the parents and explain the purpose of the study over the phone
- Any
other logistic support that may be needed for the project
- Any other task(s) assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements you should have:
• A minimum of Matriculation
• Any nursing, public health or
related knowledge will be preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in hospital/ research facility
• Experience in public interaction will be preferred
• Professional integrity and a mature,
reliable and responsible personality
•Effective communication skills
• The ability to speak and
understand job related English and Urdu.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word,
Excel)
• The ability to collect data on
tablet.
• The ability to give oral
instructions/information to patients and parents in colloquial English and Urdu
